Yesterday, I had the most unforgettable weekend.
After my abacus class, which lasted for about two and a half hours, my father gave my sister and I a mysterious surprise.
Guess what? We were going to the Fort Canning Park to pick Sago seeds!
This was what happened:
We were listening to a CD about Chinese poems in the car and they happened to talk about Sago seeds that are in the shape of a heart and could be given to someone to show that you miss them.
When we reached there, we climbed up a steep hill and picked a whole container of Sago seeds.
After that, we went to Funan Centre to eat dinner at Food Junction.
After the delicious food, we went to Challenger to take a look.
On that day, we had Sprite and Cola.
I had a happy weekend. :)

I had a wonderful new year!

I received a lot of red packets and visited thousands of relatives and friends.
It is one of the festivals I enjoy most because I don't need to go to school...

My P5 Adventure Camp
On 19th, 20th and 21st of January, I went for a P5 adventure camp!
The whole P5 was to go, compulsory, unless of medical reasons.
I went with two big bags and came back with more because I don't know how to squeeze everything in like my mother did.
I went for rock climbing, dragon boating and sea rafting!
It was so fun!
It was the first time I went into the deep blue sea where my feet can't even feel the seabed.
Of course, I was wearing a life jacket because I don't know how to swim.
I discovered that I love the feel (and the taste) of the seawater.
The rock climbing was pretty scary so I didn't climb to the top.
We slept in dormitories in the second level.
Almost the whole place was sandy and had the smell of the seawater.
When we were leaving the place, we still had to clean the dustbins that we used, and pick up rubbish that were left behind by others.
It was really disgusting.
Even though, it still left good memories for me.

My Family's History
While we were eating breakfast, my mother told me some true stories about my mother's father's father, in other words, my great grandfather.
My great grandfather owned a restaurant, was a trader and was a firework expert.
Before the war, they bought a 150kg packet of rice to survive the war.
Unfortunately, he was caught by the Japanese soldiers and suffered alot.
But the Japanese heard that he was a firework expert and asked him to build an explosive, but my great grandfather refused.
After much discussion, the Japanese soldiers asked him to built a tiny explosive to deflate a tyre.
My great grandfather had no choice but to call all his workers to help make this explosive.
This was a good thing too, because after this collaboration, my great grandfather had great relationship with the Japanese soldiers and did not suffer alot.

The Holidays are Almost Over
Awww...
Only four more days to school!
I am so nervous...
Who is my new teacher?
Who are my new classmates?
Are they what I hope for?
Will there be alot of homework?
So many questions to ask!
I hope 2009 would be better than 2008...
I feel that when we do the things we don't like to do, time passes by very quickly.
But when we do the things we love, a whole month passes so quickly!
2008's December holiday was the best because I had been to the most places these holidays.

My Sleepover at My Neighbour's
Yesterday was Christmas and I enjoyed it very much.
First, my presents were cool!
My gugu gave me a secret diary and so did my auntie.
My grandma gave me a cross-stitch kit.
Next, my sister and I slept over at my neighbours house for the first time!
We played games and the next morning, we ate breakfast there too!
It was the greatest Christmas ever!

爱吃泡泡糖的小青蛙- 小书
